Welcome to my perspective :)
The people I admire most in the
world are the ones who dare(d) to be who they feel deep inside they are – no matter
how much resistance they encounter(ed) from the world they happen to be born
in. My resolution in 2013 is live the
way my heroes do.
I’ve been very quiet for a very long
time. Why? It’s been important to me – and still is – to acquire and maintain
the respect of people… but I’ve chosen to sacrifice my expression for an
attempt to please everyone. My ideas and
opinions are not usually aligned with the masses, let’s just say ;) The silence I’ve kept has made me, in a
sense, invisible - with visual art being the only platform where I’ve really
expressed myself uncensored. Well today,
I’ve changed my mind. I’m going to speak my mind, good or bad, for better or
worse. If this makes me less worthy of anyone’s respect, then they can feel
free to ignore or unfriend me – it’s a free world.
